The awards will be made for 2025 (and annually thereafter) by an International Jury made up of Academics, Design Artists, Philatelic Jurors and jurors appointed by the Universal Postal Union (UPU), World Authority for the Development of Philately (WADP). Philatelic Jurors will be International Jurors recognized by the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) assisted by qualified National jurors.

 

The categories for which we invite entries, and for which awards will be made are:
1) The Most Innovative Stamp Format
2) The Best Souvenir Sheet
3) The Best Intaglio Stamp
4) The Best Offset Stamp
5) The Best Mixed Printing Stamp

 

The Jury will determine the First, Second, and Third place in each category and select from the First place winners of these categories the World’s Best Stamp.

Each 1st prize winner of each category will receive a certificate and a commemorative plaque. All other entries will receive an electronic certificate of participation. A special prize will be awarded to the winner of “The World’s Best Stamp of 2025”.

 

Entries open on 1 November 2025 and must be received by 15 February 2026. No entries after this date will be accepted.
Entries will also be voted on by the general public to nominate the “Most Appealing Stamp”.
